"Homer"
fr. Les dits Moraulx des philosophes.
Belgium, Bruges, 1 April 1473. FLP Ms209. (Morris Gift)
An
English translation of this work, prepared by Anthony Woodville,
Lord Rivers, was the first book printed in England by William
Caxton. Although a nineteenth-century owner of this book was certain
this was the very volume used by Rivers, this claim cannot be
proven and is doubtful.
